The 3” rimmed opening quickly broadens out to over 7 inches wide at the shoulders, then tapers back to a 3.5” base with the RED WING USA 1583 imprint. Notice how the etched ring pattern becomes tighter as the vase tapers toward the base. Each ring is etched into the the glaze prior to the final clear glaze. This one has led a 68 year life on display. Clean and pristine.
